A strong Bermuda firm is actively looking for a senior-level attorney (Senior Associate or junior Partner level) with proven court advocacy skills, insolvency and commercial litigation experience.  The ideal lawyer would have commercial awareness, great business development and client rapport building, who is a team player, willing to mentor juniors and who is hungry for partnership.
  
The successful applicant should have:
  

• A minimum of 10 years’ relevant post qualification experience;
• A recognized Commonwealth designation;
• Advocacy skills and proven experience in conducting litigation to a high standard at various levels of court;
• Experience in commercial matters preferably including insolvency experience;
• Excellent legal research and legal opinion writing;
• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively and courteously with clients, lawyers and colleagues;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a busy practice and handle several matters at once;
• The ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality in all matters;
• Excellent computer and technical skills;
• Experience with business development activities.
