A top Bermudian firm is actively looking for a senior litigator to lead the Insolvency team in their Dispute Resolution Department. This is a Counsel/junior Partner level role, with ambitious Senior Associates welcomed to apply. 
   
They are keen to speak to litigators with strong court advocacy skills and significant insolvency experience.  The successful candidate will be someone with strong commercial awareness, great business development and client rapport building skills, a team player, willing to mentor juniors and someone who is hungry for eventual partnership.
   
The successful applicant should have:

• A minimum of 13 years’ relevant post qualification experience;
• A recognised Commonwealth designation;
• Advocacy skills and proven experience in conducting litigation to a high standard at various levels of court;
• Experience in commercial matters preferably, and in particular significant insolvency experience;
• Excellent drafting, legal research and legal opinion writing;
• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively and courteously with clients, lawyers and colleagues;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage a busy practice and handle several matters at once;
• The ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality in all matters;
• Excellent computer and technical skills;
• Experience with business development activities.
